Build-A-Bear Workshop x Animal Crossing Collab Incoming!

It's downright incredible what a total slam dunk Animal Crossing has turned out to be for Nintendo. Stellar collaborations - such as the recent Sanrio announcement - just keep coming in, and what do you know, we've caught wind of yet another one.

The upcoming Build-A-Bear Workshop x Animal Crossing collab is surely going to be another major stepping stone for both of these intellectual properties. While the information is pretty slim as of right now, we do have a few important tidbits to share.

Build-A-Bear Workshop x Animal Crossing Collaboration - What is it?

As exciting as the prospect of building your very own custom Tom Nook plushie might be, we're sorry to say that we really don't have much information right now.

We do know, however, that Build-A-Bear is setting up a newsletter campaign to bolster the promotion further. According to the company's official Twitter account, the collab is coming "SOON!", and if you're really excited to get started with this wonderful idea, it'd probably be a good idea to sing up for it.

The featured link is literally merely a guide to the collab's WIP landing page, and sadly there's really not much in the way of functionality on offer yet.

We did promise curious tidbits, however, so here's one: "Get ready to create and customize with our new Animal Crossing™: New Horizons collection," says the pitch.

Clearly, we're looking at physical plushies, from the way that's worded. However, chances are that Nintendo is going to run a parallel in-game New Horizons event as well, much as they're currently doing with the Sanrio Amiibos.
