Animal Crossing: New Horizons Festivale coming on February 15th!
An unfortunate turn of events, to be sure, because January's come and gone and Pavé the Peacock was nowhere to be found. A slight change of plans, it seems, because we finally got official confirmation that he is, in fact, dropping by towards the middle of February 2021.
Sadly, we've not yet heard much of anything about the Villager visitations yet, but we're sure Nintendo is working on that, too. Though we don't really have a massive update for you today, we do have a neat new trailer, and a summary of what's to come this month. Find all of that - and a bit more - down below!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Festivale Start & End Dates + Trailer
There are four major components to this update, from what Nintendo has told us so far.
- The Festivale Event
- Brand new Reactions
- Neat new Clothing
- A selection of Seasonal Items to collect and display
Festivale itself is pretty self-explanatory for anyone who's participated in it from previous AC titles. Once Pavé the Peacock drops by your Island's plaza section on Feburary 15th, you're going to have to run around and collect an assortment of colourful feathers to keep him happy. These features can, naturally, be traded in for a neat selection of season-themed furniture, so collectors and completionists beware.
New Reactions are going to offer an entire spectrum of new responses for players to choose from and interact with. There's even going to be a Viva Festival Reaction Set purchasable with Bells, if you're interested. Be sure to visit Nook's Cranny if you are.
And speaking of Nook's Cranny, the Nook Stop over in Resident Services is going to offer an entirely new selection of items over the course of February. Nintendo has gone on record saying we ought to expect Groundhog Day and Big Game Celebration items, too, though these will come and go at undisclosed times.

New Horizons March Update Details
And yes - Nintendo has dropped some information about the New Horizons March events, but we'd be hard-pressed to tell you any of it has any real weight. There are still datamined features that are yet to make their way into the game, though, so we'd be betting on that. We'll have to wait and see in the meantime, however.
