Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nature Day - New Items and More!
2021's New Horizons Nature Day is almost upon us, and you know what that means! A fine selection of cool new items, furniture, and clothing is about to be made available in-game.
Down below, you'll learn everything there is to know about Nature Day 2021. From the mechanics of the event to a comprehensive list of all-new items and furniture. It's not a lot to go through, but by golly, you'll be ready to go once the event hits!
Nature Day 2021: What is it?
As you may or may not know, Animal Crossing's Nature Day spectacle is basically the in-game variant of the real-world Earth Day celebrations. The event is all about celebrating Earth and nature, and this means the main goal of the event is twofold: both to raise awareness about our planet and to equip you with all the goodies you need to beautify your Island further.
2020's Nature Day tasked players with completing an assortment of nature-oriented tasks and objectives. Some of these were, for example, to plant shrubs and a variety of other plants around the Island. Sadly, it doesn't seem like these activities will be making a return, but we are getting a bunch of new items to collect.
Nature Day 2021 is coming up tomorrow, on the 22nd of April, but you can snag some cool goodies even before it comes up.
Head on over to Resident Services and get the legendary Cool Globe item for 2,300 Bells - a bit of a mainstay from previous Nature Day happenings in the Animal Crossing franchise.
Nature Day 2021 Items
Now, even though there won't be an event for Nature Day with objectives and whatnot, that doesn't mean you can't talk with Leif to grab a bunch of beautiful goodies for your Island. Here's the list of items you can expect to be able to grab:
- Azalea - Pink / White
- Camellia - Pink / Red
- Hibiscus - Red / Yellow
- Holly - Red
- Hydrangea - Blue / Pink
- Tea-Olive - Orange / Yellow
New Horizons is choc-full of snazzy goodies that allow the players to bring their Islands to life, but none are quite so vivid as the Nature Day items, if you ask us. If you're even remotely interested in adding a dash of color to your Island, you know what you need to do!
And don't forget (if you haven't done so beforehand), that you can unlock the Hedge DIY recipe by making three separate purchases from Leif on three different days. Very handy for long-term customization projects.
